At Olympia Auctions, we have created the kind of auction house we ourselves would choose if buying or selling a treasure of our own. Our experts have years of experience at the top of their fields and are driven by a passion to share that with others. At Olympia Auctions, we always make time to listen and advise.

We were founded in 2005 by Thomas Del Mar. Like almost all the experts who have joined him here, Tom grew his career at Sotheby’s, learning from great experts ahead of him and working with pre-eminent collections all over the world. 

Today, our purpose is to apply our world-class expertise to pictures and objects worth anything from £50 upwards.  We hold auctions in all the traditional specialist areas whilst also developing new ones. Each sale is carefully curated and, although you will find every item illustrated online, we still believe in the enduring value of a lavishly illustrated, printed catalogue.

Whether you are buying or selling from abroad or visit our Kensington Olympia saleroom in person, we are committed to providing a high-quality service and enjoyable experience. We look forward to meeting you.
