Justin Roberts, well-known lecturer and author, leads a team who will be delighted to give you a free valuation of all kinds of jewellery from the 1780s to the 1980s and even pieces from the early 21st century.
Why sell?
Lots of us have something we no longer wear. Or something given by a friend or passed down through the family that never sees the light of day. Our expert team will always be interested to see your treasures and hear the stories they tell. Send us photographs or visit us in person.
What’s selling well?
Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco and 1950s and 60s jewellery – all these styles are in demand. Buyers are especially keen on Art Deco necklaces and drop earrings and chunky gold charm bracelets, popular in the 1960s, are back in fashion. Pieces by big name brands such as Tiffany, Cartier and Van Cleef and Arpels always do well (the Princess of Wales has sparked a new demand for Van Cleef’s Alhambra style), and the iconic 1950s and 1960s jewellery of Andre Grima, known as “the father of modern jewellery”, is undergoing an exciting revival – as we saw recently with a Grima “Trianon” bracelet that fetched £36,000.
Our Jewellery and Watches sales
We hold live and online Jewellery and Watches auctions four times a year and are currently accepting consignments for sales in March and May 2025.
