of circular convex form with strongly outward-turned brim, the main surface embossed with a bold pattern of tapering flutes radiating from the centre, fitted with four low domed iron bosses with flanged pierced foliate rims and traces of silver plating, corresponding on the inside with four iron rings with enarmes, the outer surface painted in gilt polychrome with a central flower and alternating designs of green bouquets and gilt scrollwork, 46.5 cm diameter
