with crescentic axe-blade rising to a further smaller blade with reinforced tip and a leaf-shaped terminal spike, engraved along the back-edge with foliage and linear ornament, five-sided socket chiselled with a leaf at the base of the blade, and later wooden haft, 40.8 cm head
