with associated recurved double-edged blade of flattened-diamond section, brass hilt cast and chased in high relief, comprising a pair of langets (restored), outer guard decorated with the avatars of Vishnu, pommel with Nandi bull beneath a cobra canopy, and inner guard of an integral triangular section bar, 33.5 cm overall
