A BRONZE FIGURE OF ACALA, TIBET, CIRCA 15TH CENTURY

inlaid with silver and copper, stepping to his right, his fiercesome face with bulging eyes and protruding fangs, his right hand raised holding a sword his left in vitarka mudra, wearing jewellery and crown inlaid with turquoise, coral and lapis lazuli, with billowing scarf, mounted on modern wooden base, 21.5cm high (excluding projecting tenon base attachments to his feet)
