Insignia of Indian Infantry Regiments and other Units A card containing 1922 - 47 period items including a cast white metal pagri-badge, brass button and shoulder-title of the 19th Hyderabad Regiment; a good white metal peacock badge of the 20th Burma Rifles; a blackened metal ST and brass button of the Kumaon Regiment; cast white metal badges, some of local manufacture, of the Bihar, Ajmer, Mahar and Assam Regiments; blackened metal STs or badges of the 25th and 26th Gurkha Rifles and a good white metal badge of the Indian Parachute Regiment; an incomplete card with items of infantry regiments post-1947 retaining mainly anodised cap-badges of the Mahar and Rushtriyah Regiments, the Jammu & Kashmir Light Infantry, and of the 1st, 3rd,4th,5th and 9th Gorkha Rifles; and another card of miscellaneous Indian insignia, including a shoulder-title of the R Indian Naval Nursing Service and a post-Independence Petty Officer's metal badge of the Indian Navy; a cap-badge of the Bhanwar Infantry; a brass glengarry-badge of the Calcutta Scottish Volunteers c.1911, and a badge of the Lucknow Rifles (the latter a reproduction made for the DCLI Museum); assorted military buttons (two QVC, the remainder KC period), including ones of 3rd Skinner's Horse, the 15th Lancers, Central India Horse and 17th Dogras; a pair of post-Independence khaki rank-slides with Brigadier's badges; a group of unidentified or bazaar-made replica metal badges; and three Ceylonese pre-Independence cloth shoulder-titles.
