with knife-like terminal blade, forward-leaning axe-head formed with a notch behind at the top and bottom, rear spike formed en suite and struck with a mark, a pair of straps (areas of pitting), on a later wooden haft (in two pieces), with brass inventory tag ‘H. 77’ , 110.0 cm head
