AHMED SABRY (EGYPTIAN 1889-1995)

Painted circa 1948

According to an inscription in Arabic on the reverse by the artist's son Nezaar Sabry, his father painted the present work in 1948, the sitter was called Ghalia and Nezaar Sabry gifted the work to Engineer Hassan Salem on 27 March 1990.

This painting as the note indicates to Engineer Hassan Salem. It is gifted by the son of the artist Nezaar Sabry. The painting was produced approximately in 1948 and the lady in it is named Ghalia. Dated and Nezaar Sabry 27 March 1990.
