bell striking movement with outside count wheel and silk suspension, engine turned dial with black Roman numerals, the drum housed within a richly-dressed trotting horse, its rider nonchalently balanced above, his head turned towards us under a plumed headscarf, set on a rectangular base with applied with putti holding aloft branches flanking a socle with two birds, on winged claw feet, with key and pendulum, 41cm high
