Using Julian Trevelyan’s press Cronyn investigated etching as a reprise of his pre-war wood engravings. The Cronyns kept connections with Suffolk by renting there. The subject of the present work is a view through a cottage kitchen looking down to the River Stour that runs through Nayland.
