A very popular Talk by former Senior Director of the Old Masters department at Sotheby’s, Richard Charlton-Jones. Charlton-Jones examines representation of bloodline or wealth in 16thcentury children’s portraits to the more naturalistic guise of the 18th century, when children are often depicted in informal groups or landscapes.
This event raises funds and awareness for the charity West London Action for Children.
