with curved crescentic blade with sharp inner edge, engraved with a flower on each side at the forte, iron hilt including knuckle-guard with recurved bud-shaped finial, and hardwood grip (one repaired crack), rising to a pear-shaped pommel with stepped iron cap, 60.0 cm overall
