with double-edged blade cut-down from a European sword, iron hilt of characteristic form, comprising a pair of langets with lotus leaf terminals, side bars decorated with a running border pattern, grip bars with knop-shaped mouldings, chiselled throughout with linear patterns; together with two contemporary Indian katar scabbards the first: 29.5 cm blade (3)
